KORRA CREW PROFILE: OWEN SULLIVAN
Owen Sullivan joined the crew a while ago as a storyboard revisionist. He worked really hard, quickly adapted to our storyboarding style, and learned our production system so well that we promoted him to assistant director. You can see some of his great storyboard drawings from Book 2 above. I asked him a few questions to give you guys some insight into one of the many talented people we are lucky to have working on Korra, and how he got here.

It's so amazing to see the fandom is so devoted to the show, i mean, look a this! Look at all the fanart! It ='s hard that nickelodeon is making us wait so long for the premiere of Book 2, but for now, i think fan art is enough to fill the Korra withdraw some of us are going thru.
Keep the hard work fans! And lets be patient for next season! Bryke is in the last touches of it, i know it! Book 2 is almost here

Book One: Air on July 16th, 2013The Legend of Korra made its big debut last year on Nickelodeon and IGN can now reveal details on the Book One DVD and Blu-Ray for the popular follow up series to Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Fans will be able to pick up The Legend of Korra Book One: Air on July 16th, 2013, which collects all twelve episodes of the series so far.
The Legend of Korra will mark the first TV series Nickelodeon has ever released on Blu-ray, and the Blu-ray will contain exclusive special features, including:
Audio Commentaries from series creators, cast and crew for all 12 episodes.
Series creators' Favorite Scenes: Eight Animatics
While there will be select audio commentaries on the DVD, the Blu-ray will be the only release to have commentaries on every single episode. There will also be an additional special feature that is available on both the DVD and Blu-ray:

Korra DVD release date.It looks like the DVD for season 1 of The Legend of Korra now has a release date. The listing on Nickelodeon’s online store has the release marked for May 21 – quite a while away, and an especially odd choice if The Legend of Korra season 2 begins airing in April, as we have speculated. But, we will all know the release date of Book 2 on March 29.
Also of note is the fact that Amazon.com’s page for the DVD reports no special features. The show’s creators, however, have spoken of recording commentary with several of the main cast, including Janet Varney (Korra), David Faustino (Mako), and Steve Blum (Amon), as well as the composers for The Legend of Korra. It’s possible that the commentary will only be included on a “Special Edition” DVD or Blu-Ray, and Hypable will let you know if this news is clarified. In the meantime, this apparently no-frills DVD is available for pre-order at $15.99.

How do you feel about the whole 'zuko is not Ozai's son theory'?
Personally, I think it is a big misunderstanding. I actually want it to be one . Because if it proves to be true, then it contradicts a lot of things established about Zuko's character in the series. I will be very disappionted if it happens. Also, do you think azula

Hmm... interesting... this could approve BolinxEska theory... xD. But, i just cant ship Bolin and Eska because... you know, Bolin is all energetic-goofy-GORGEOUS and Eska seems like the "Mai" of Legend of Korra.
Who knows, maybe a nice girl is behind that "androgynous creepiness"
And another interesting this to note is the background. I does not look like the south pole to me, it's more like they where in republic city. But both of them are wearing that big winter coats; it looks like the South pole has had a lot of reconstruction in the last 70 years...
What do you think about this?

Cool. Now I know how Korra got Naga, and how Bolin got Pabu as a pet. Awesome.

I remember seeing the ATLA artbook at Borders years ago, but I was broke, sadly. (I still wanna get it.) I definitely want the LOK artbook as well, but I don't have the money. *sad face*
