Hey all,
you can submit artwork of your favorite Avatar villains to our contest folder to compete to win some pretty awesome collectibles and other mail away prizes from today until October 30th.
Winners and prizes
3rd place: cake badge, item in featured folder, Aang and momo action figures(rare mail away collectables)
2nd place: Red dragon and Avatar Roku figurines(Rare mail away collectables), item in featured folder
1st place: Legend of Korra turf wars graphic novel, Blue dragon and spirit Roku(rare mail away collectables), legend of Korra adult coloring book, item in featured folder.
Prompt: it's good to be bad. When you are a villain, the real game is to find out who is truly the baddest in the land. Send us your depictions of any villain you think has made an impact on the series as a whole or just in your opinion. Who do you think is the baddest of the bad? The most sympathetic? The most intimidating...etc. Show us in your artwork for our summer/fall annual mail away event who you love to hate.
Items will be judged on creativeness, quality, vision, originality and overall appeal.
Judges: The legend of Korra staff
Banned mediums: screenshots, photography manipulation of any kind, gifs(unless animated by hand by the original artist), MS paint, DA Muro, WIP, any banned fetish(see rules on our home page), hate art, Sims.
Permitted items: Pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, water color, any kind of paints, digital, clay, plush, crafts, marker, pen, wood, unorthodox creativeness, graffiti style, cosplay, cosbound, characterbounding, shadow box, modern, impressionist, creative writing...anything that involves actual creative thought.
Anyone caught violating the contest rules will be blocked from participation in future contests for three years as well as subject to a one month ban. Be fair and be creative.
You may submit more than one piece but we will only judge the one we deem to be your best.
5 or more participants must submit their work in order for prizes to be given out.
Also, next year, be a part of our 2018 event Fans for all Seasons, a four part year long string of contests highlighting each of the four nations starting with Water and ending with Air. More detail will be posted on the 2018 contest format on new years eve.

In light of Bryan Konietzko's decision to draw and auction off artwork for Covid19 relief charity, we want to encourage our members to say thank you to the essential workers out there who are working hard to help the world get through the quarantine. Avatar Is Now On Netflix
Hello all,
as of today, Avatar is now available to watch on Netflix. Korra is not on the platform at the moment. Nickelodeon has also created a youtube channel dedicated completely to all things Avatar. If you want your avatar fix, you should check it out. Bryan Konietzko is auctioning off original artwork to raise money for covid19 relief charities. Remember, stay safe and make choices that benefit everyone around you.

In The News:
As you may have already heard, Avatar is coming to netflix for the first time in a while. People are exited to binge the series but what about Korra? Currently, Korra is not set for a netflix debut and fans are wondering if that will ever change. One of our co founders touted the idea of a more adult oriented Avatar series on a platform like netflix. A cool idea and something that would be very much welcome but right now, a live action reboot is currently being developed.
